The MTC gets down to business. We already taught the first discussion in Preach my Gospel on the third day! And tomorrow we are teaching the second discussion, and I am going to fail. It's so hard to try to convert what you want to say in English to Chinese. I am mostly blank to what our investigator, Lai Jei Yi says. I understand bits and phrases but I don't know if I can put them together right. And then I don't know how to say what I want. My companion lived in China for TWO years and she is ahead of the game in our district. There is also one Elder that took 4 years of Mandarin! He is really good, and should be fast tracked to his mission which is the same one as mine. I've learned a lot about the language already. I probably know more than Alex right now aha JOKES. In class, we have just gone through vocabulary and how to pray but I've still have so much to learn and it's crazy how much I've already soaked in. I think praying in Chinese will be fun, i'll be practicing it when I get the chance, which is all the time because we pray for every single section of the day.
The food here isn't as great as people say, but it isn't bad. My companion, Sister Christensen, and I are planning to be healthy 2/3 meals a day so we won't get fat. Today was the first day we worked out and it was just a work out gym but the MTC has 2 gyms and the other has a full court gym, four square, volleyball, and a work out gym so I'm planning to go there with my companion or tongban.
Our P day is Monday, so I'll get a temple picture then. I actually need a connverter to send pictures, which is annoying because it's 7 dollars and our weekly allowance is 8 for sister and 6 for elders.
Okay, Love you all!
