I am partying with the church investigators and bringing them to the main event, coming to Christ and getting baptised.
Sounds like all you did this past week was party! But it makes life exciting...and fat haha! This past week we met with Angela and Rachel for lunch. I haven't seen them since the last last Sunday. And they were talking in canto and looking at me. I picked up a few words from what they said, but I asked what they were saying. They asked me if I went to Korea and got plastic surgery haha apparently I lost weight and 'got plastic surgery'. They said I look skinnier and prettier, so I guess before I was just a fat whale haha
I wear me glasses because I look like a real Asian! I blend in with all the Chinese students here. It's easier to talk to people on the street too. It's my secret power to give me the motivating power to talk to people haha But in reality, I just like them and I look smart.
Oh, I don't need anymore clothes. My suitcases won't be able to take all I have planned to take home. I plan to wear out all I have now and if I need new clothes I'll just buy it here. It'll be cheaper then buying it and sending it here.
Oh I will be withdrawing mula £100 for my metro and bus pass and because I need some food. So bank will be missing money for that reason.
Before I leave England (which is a loooong time), boy needs to get an English style suit. They look loads better than American style and they will fit him better. Tall and skinny people suits.
Yeah, I noticed lately that the people I love are getting hurt or have more health problems. And I, in my little humanistic mind thunk, 'since, I am serving a mission why isn't God protecting them and blessing them? Where are my blessings? God didn't follow through on his promise.' But after a few weeks I realised that He is. Uncle could've been seriously hurt. It could've been drastically worse. He was watched over and was protected and his injuries were less severe. And the scripture that says something like, 'The Lord, I, am bound when you keep my commandments.' When we keep the commandments and heed the teachings of Jesus Christ. We are obligated to the blessings. We do get them. You just have to see them in a different light. A light where your heart is softened, a light of gratitude.
