Shooting! That's fun. get sore afterwards? No body's got guns here. So the English are a lil skeptical of guns.
Mmmm those moon cakes look great! Moon cakes are really expensive here...£15 for 3! So we didn't buy any.
This week was great. So we made mental goals for the transfer that we are aiming to hit! Pumped up with adrenaline to accomplish our goals! So this week went by loads better than weeks before. We've had a few new church investigators this week. One of them is named Kevin(: (btw, which is a minion name, just going with the minion theme here haha) He's great and a classmate of Hedwig. His grandma is Christian and since having that influence he's really interested in how Christianity can help. He even came to church! This was his first time at church! It was a miracle that we had several Chinese church investigators at Church since it was mid autumn fest.
And at Church Dean brought a friend to witness him being confirmed an official member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and getting the gift of the holy ghost. and in Gospel Principles, a class for people who don't know much about our Church, the same friend commented on how God helped her when she felt on the downside. And this is coming from a chinese lass! So we made sure to talk to her, Sherry, about that experience and asked her if she wanted to learn more. Dean! What a perfect church member, he's felt the importance of truth and shares it all the time with his mates.
Gabrielle is back from China, she stopped in Sheffield to grab her things and head off to Bangor for uni. Over in China she read a Psych book about religion...not a good thing...so she's more confused and convinced that God doesn't exist. But the only thing that could help her is her own experience. Her own knowledge to test it out and experiment! And that's what we invited her to do, and to see the missionaries in Bangor, which she's already met(: But it was great to see her(: She'll be back in october to manage some stuff.
But this was our week!(: Loved it!
