The best thing about this past week was Stake Conference. At stake conference an American talked and it was weird to hear such a strong American accent, I didn't like it haha This stake conference they put a big emphasis on the church cards that have 'invite a friend', 'self reliance', ' and 'find an ancestor'. I like how our main goal in this stake is to do these three things. Surely we can all do them. We have a whole year to accomplish this goal. And this will for sure hasten the work of the Lord. As church members find others interested in Christ or the Church it will keep the missionaries busy with lessons. As we become self-reliant in spiritual and temporal matters we will endure to the end. And as we take an ancestor's name to the Temple and perform sacred ordinances for them, we will draw closer to them and to God.
Later that night we had a lesson with Nick. I never had a lesson with him before. I've seen him at Family Home Evening once. I wasn't looking forward to this lesson because I was tired and didn't feel like taking the lead in this Chinese speaking lesson. But as Sis Salcedo pushed me to get pumped about Nick and the lesson, we had a great lesson. Nick was very attentive and asked a lot of good questions. He even read a few chapters of the Book of Mormon. We rescheduled him for the 28th of March. But before he gets baptised he needs to see the relationship and importance of baptism(: Then he will be solid.
This was my week, spring is coming, all the flowers are a blooming in England. And the winds are crazy strong and cold(: We didn't need to change our clocks for england
