Transfer Calls!

Me back is fine, I do switch sides where me bag lays on me shoulder. (me=my in geordie) ( I AM AN ASIAN GEORDIE) Nothing much really happened since we skyped on Mother's Day Sunday. For me birthday, Sis Larson made me a cake, Rachel and Angela gave me a 'surprise' birthday announcement. I knew the whole time what they were doing. but they couldn't even light the candles before I came in to the room haha Then I got a few birthday calls from the Chinese church members(: We had a tea appointment too at Sis Gill, the one who has a Mormon message. (www.mormon.org.uk/sarahg) She's a very nice lass. She has an 11 month old who already has 8 teeth! Her name is Ella (Eleanor). We had pudding-some sorbet and she put a candle in it for me. Then since it was Monday night, we had Family Home Evening at the Lukombo's. It was also El Shadai's birthday, he turned 10. I made him a layered chocolate cake with chocolate frosting and iced it with Smarties/M&Ms. We taught them the first 3 Articles of Faith. The two boys are great at participating in the lessons, they both want to outdo each other in their answers. Both give great answers(:

Then we got transfer calls at like 11:30. Our district got worked. The Sisters are all the same. We are all staying. Me Mam isn't old enough to move to the old folks home hahaha Elder Sorenson is moving to Huddersfield-where Sis Christensen is. He'll have a Chinese companion. Elder Chan is staying and is reuniting with is trainer. Elder Wheelhouse is moving to Gateshead (so he's still close by and in the same zone) Elder Tualla is opening a NEW AREA! Called Leeds 3.5? I think. And replacing Tualla and Wheelhouse are the Zone Leaders, But we aren't too sure who they are. They didn't explain that part, well I guess we will see on Sunday!(:

We don't have to buy the iPads because the laws is England prohibit the Church from making missionaries buy them! Ha! That's good because I didn't want to buy one. We won't keep them either, which is fair. But I think we will get iPads at the next Zone Conference next month.

I feel old, me life is moving tooo fast! I am really trying to form new and lasting habits that will benefit me as a missionary. The Christlike attributes are so hard. I can work on one for like a day then I forget about them...But this next transfer I want to work on diligence. It's a big challenge to conquer but i know that with loads of time on my knees asking the Lord for help will get me there.

Love YOUS
Sis Chee

Starting September 3, I begin service as a volunteer missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I will be training in Utah for two months then go to my assignment in Leeds, England speaking Mandarin Chinese. See you in eighteen months.
