MAM and DAD! NI HAO! 你好!
So far, no envelope...so sad. you're, right. The Postman did eat it!

So this week loads happened but the best I'll share with yous(:

So we're helping one our church investigators and a friend quit smoking and drinking. So Sis pugs made cute no smoking and drinking charts for them to work on! They both want to quit, both know that these things are bad for them. So in order to help them and support them in this huge change, we have also decided to quit something that we are addicted to.... The gospel, jokes! IT's CANDY! So far I've been sober off of candy for a week! It's so hard! I've got cravings but I just eat some fruit instead, the healthier option!(:

We had an amazing lesson with Hedwig. We were teaching the Lord's Plan of Salvation again cuz the first time was all over the place! And as we taught and focused it on families and how God is loving and knows us individually, Hedwig felt something strong. She said, 'This feels familiar' (about the pre-earth life) and 'God knows me?' She's had dreams before about something like the pre-earth existence and knew that the plan of salvation was true. She has had a strong warm feeling in the moment. Sis Pugs and I recalled all the times she's felt that feeling, and they have always been in our lessons and at church. We testified to her it was the Holy Spirit telling her that what we share is true. She was so elated about all of it and Sis Pugs invited her to be baptised but halfway before she finished the invite, Hedwig said 'Yes, I want to get baptised' So we set a date for Oct 2! She's so excited to get baptised and learn more(: I've never had a church investigator so solidly and forward say that they want to be baptised. It was truly a great experience and proved to me that when you have the Holy Spirit strongly in lessons, church investigators will gain courage to take the next step and follow Jesus Christ and Heavenly Father.

Sis Pugs and I have such a tight companionship unity that we say what each other thinks all the time- in lessons, chatting with each other and other, and in any possible situation. It's a lil weird yet cool haha Most times, in lessons, she'll say what I was thinking and I'll do the same for her. It happened loads in Hedwig's lesson!

Last Sunday was Gabrielle's last time at Church before she goes home to China for 3 weeks! So Sad, but when we were walking towards the Chapel, she and I were chatting. She said to me, 'What do I need to do to get baptised?' WAHT? Did I hear her right? Now this was the Gabrielle who was so set minded on her opinion like that God was not a nice person, alcohol is good for me, how can I know of the happiness in heaven, and stuff like this! And she just asked me what she needs to do to get baptised....mind blown! So I reviewed the 10 commandments from the Bible briefly and asked if we could meet later that night to explain more before she left! Now what changed with Gabrielle? There was a major change of heart! All sis Pugs and I did was express our love with her and testify of what we know is truth. Love is the key to all sorts of problems. Key to all solutions. Just like in the Book of Mormon in Moroni chapter 7, with out charity we are nothing. Charity is the determining factor in church investigators' path to baptism! And this was an experience to prove it!

Loving the mission life, things are starting to speeeeeeeed up...6 months to go, but who's  counting ;p

Oh and Candy, an eternal church investigator, is getting baptised on the 25th of sept! YAY

Love,
Sis Chee
